Invitation:
Dear all,
On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, MINERVA PLUS project
and the Association of Library and Information Professionals of the Czech
Republic, we have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the conference
on Archives, Libraries, Museums in the Digital World 2004, which will
be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on 1st and 2nd December 2004.
Conference is aimed on the most discussed national and international
issues of Minerva Plus project:
- digitization of cultural and scientific content,
- creating an agreed European common platform,
- promoting recommendations and guidelines about digitization,
- metadata,
- long-term accessibility and preservation,
- copyrights, etc.
This two day conference will present achievements, as well
as problems of different projects, both from practical and theoretical
point of view. Since we have the honour to welcome also the international
professionals, we think this platform will be of your interest, as well.
Conference fee is 200,- Kc (includes the coffees and lunches,
and the Post-Conference Proceedings).
Please note, that the conference language is Czech, however,
translation into English will be provided during both days.

as possible but not later than November 12th, 2004 on following e-mail
